Heating homes with their own sunshine
Korea’s «heating electrification» programme puts air-to-water heat pumps and thermal storage tanks in homes with solar. ENERBOT watches a home’s heat pump, storage and solar together, and calculates efficiency (COP) and self-consumption.
The «VPP operator» seat in the consortium
The government guideline requires each consortium to include a VPP operator that does the following.
Control · communication devices
Installs and manages control and communication devices in each home. Electricity and heat meters are mandatory.
Dedicated platform
Collects heat pump operating data on a dedicated platform and shares it on request.
Next-year report
In the year after installation, surveys energy savings, emission cuts and credits, and reports them.

What ENERBOT sees in a home
Utility, PV and heat pump meters with storage tank, indoor and hot-water temperatures on a single home diagram.
Heat produced per unit of electricity — for today and the last 24 hours.
Storage-tank SOC with indoor and hot-water temperatures — «is it warm?» at a glance.
The share of solar power used at home — did daytime sunshine end up stored as heat?

Not like an ESS that stops when unsure
For a battery, stopping when the state is unknown is the safe choice. Stop a heat pump in winter and the house can freeze. So ENERBOT leans towards «keep the default operation» for heat pumps — and at this stage only meters and displays.
Homes with heat pump + ESS too
In homes that also have a battery and PCS, the ESS side gets the same protection logic as our ESS plants, while the heat pump side follows heat pump rules.
Where we are In development
The home screens and calculations (COP, storage SOC, self-consumption) are built. We connect real heat pumps as soon as manufacturers provide their communication specs.
